Dear Real Estate Lawyers Nationwide – in any state – here is a great moment for you, that you have likely awaited for many years, and now can actually come true.

This is your chance to practice law with The Real Estate Philosopher!

After you come down from the ceiling and no doubt tell your significant other about this opportunity, let me be a little more serious.  Or, was I already serious…?

To be straightforward, our law firm, Adler & Stachenfeld LLP, is experiencing the strongest growth we have ever seen in just about all of our practice areas.  With some exciting new hires this year, we have hit an inflection point.

We are especially feeling the excitement in our vaunted Corporate Real Estate Practice Group and our Real Estate Finance Practice Group.

The Corporate Practice Group handles joint ventures, platforms, funds of all kinds, and other transactions, both small and super-large and complicated.  We love this practice area as our expertise and skill set provide particular value to clients. In addition, there are a few firms that can handle it other than the mega-NYC firms.

The Real Estate Finance Practice Group handles loans of all shapes and sizes on behalf of our lender clients, also of all shapes and sizes, with a particular focus on high-yield debt, preferred equity, and construction loans.

We seek mid-level associates, senior associates, junior partners, and even senior partners with this expertise to join our group.

Unlike many such requests, it is not necessary for the candidate to have portable clients.

Also, we are open to remote work in pretty much any U.S. location, as long as the candidate will spend a reasonable amount of time in NYC getting to know us and getting to know the clients as well.  Notably, we have already expanded to Philadelphia; however, we are open to any location in the continental United States.

We have a combination of:

  • One of the cutting-edge real estate practices in NYC.
  • Blue-chip clients doing deals of all sizes, including mega-deals with multi-layered capital stacks and all of the trimmings.
  • A really nice place to work with no unpleasant people.

We seek lawyers who:

  • Are good people, since we pay a lot more than lip service to our culture, values, and hedgehog, all of which are, at heart, the lynchpin of our success;
  • Have a passion for being lawyers, as opposed to it being just a job; and
  • Are star quality in terms of their work, as both we and our clients insist on that as a line in the sand that cannot be crossed.

If this is of interest to you, I urge you to give me a shout.  Don’t stand on ceremony – email me or call me.

Oh – and if you are not a lawyer, but you use lawyers, and you think your lawyer would service you better as part of our boutique pure play real estate practice in NYC, feel free to suggest to your lawyer giving me a shout as per the above.

I wish the best of success to all in my beloved real estate industry.
